Jack Stevens recalled / Ty Belford joins

There will be a change in goal for tomorrow's visit of Bishops Stortford as Jack Stevens has been recalled by parent club Oxford United.

With United's number 2 Benji Buchel away on International duty with Liechtenstein they have seen fit to recall Stevens who will most likely take his place on the subs bench for their League 1 clash with Shrewsbury Town

U's goalkeeper coach Wayne Brown said of Stevens:

“It has been great for Jack to get games and experience at City and we thank them for their help. He has done very well and will come back and be in and around the first team squad here again, starting tomorrow at Shrewsbury.”

Oxford City Boss Justin Merritt has moved quickly to find a replacement in the shape of Ex-Swindon and Liverpool stopper Tyrell 'Ty' Belford who joins City having mutually agreeing to leave the Wiltshire club.

Belford, 22 joined the Youth system at Liverpool in 2009 after playing as a junior for Coventry City, from there he joined Swindon and has this season spent time on loan at National League Southport
