We are delighted to announce four new additions to Mark Jones’ squad, all of who have had successful trial periods at the club.
Luke Ruddick joins the club for the 2018/19 season having impressed in all of City’s pre-season fixtures so far. The central defender signs having spent some time out of the game, however he has had spells at Sutton United and Salisbury United, where he played alongside Rob Sinclair in their championship winning side.
Kyran Wiltshire is another addition to Mark Jones’ squad, signing for the Hoops having spent a number of seasons at Maidenhead United, having previously been at MK Dons where he was very highly rated. He was a part of the squad that won the National League South in 2016/17. He is a tricky midfielder who has impressed in every appearance he has made in pre-season.
Another midfielder, Mike Atkinson has also joined the club this week. Mike is a Belize international however he is based in the UK, specifically in the RAF at Brize Norton. As well as playing for the RAF team, he has also represented York City, Farsley, Northallerton Town and Scarborough Athletic before joining City for the 2018/19 campaign.
Finally, young striker Eze Ibrahim has also signed terms for the 2018/19 season. The pacey forward joins City from the lower divisions and has caused defenders all sorts of problems in his few pre-season appearances for the club, notching his first goal in last night’s 5-0 win over Thame United.
