Foursome Fisher Batters Yeltz

By Robert Padbury

CITY 4-1 Halesowen Town

City could afford to miss an injury time penalty as an awesome display saw the blues take second placed Halesowen Town to pieces.

City were ahead early on with a fine header from Andy Gunn, Gunn then scored at the wrong end when a mix up between himself and goalkeeper Ryan Harrison saw the scores at 1-1

City played some excellent football with new arrival Alex Fisher in fine form, City re-took the lead on half time through Jamie Brooks.

City made it 3-1 straight after the break when appearing to be in an offside position Alex Fisher poked home his first of the afternoon.

Fisher doubled his tally with an excellent goal, he skipped past a defender before cooly slotting past the Halesowen goalkeeper

In the dying seconds of injury time City were awarded a penalty for a trip on Mark Lambert and up stepped Andy Gunn who fired high over the crossbar.
