Champion of Champions Semi-Final

Oxford City U19's find themselves in National League U19 Alliance action on Wednesday evening as they play Guiseley in the Champion of Champions semi-final.

The match will be played and Ilkley Town at 5pm on Wednesday afternoon.

They earned their position at this stage by beating Mansfield Town away last Wednesday as they ran out 3-0 winners to make it to this stage. They went unbeaten during the league stage as they ran out winners of Division 'E'. The Champion of Champions is a playoff stage to determine the overall champion of the eight divisions.

First Team Manager Mark Jones had this to say about the superb achievement for the side:

"This Wednesday our academy Under 19s team take on Guiseley away in the Semi Final of the National League Under 19 Alliance. The Under 19s, led by Mickey Lewis won their Regional division to progress to the overall Champion of Champions play offs. Last Tuesday the team traveled to Mansfield Town for the quarter finals, emerging victorious after a hard fought 3-0 win, goals coming from Hasnain Nadeem, Henry Landers and Mohammed Adam.

The lads have done exceptionally well to get this far in what has been a very competitive format. The team will travel up by coach for the 5pm Kick off. We will endeavor to keep you updated Wednesday evening."

Don't forget that Tuesday is the final trials for next season's side, so don't forget to book your place before it is too late!
