Yesterday's 3-1 victory over Oxford United in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup has seen Oxford City go through to face North Leigh in the Semi-Finals.
We can now confirm that this match will take place on Wednesday 3rd April with a 19:30 kick-off. As is customary at this stage of the competition, the match will be played at a neutral location, and so the Hoops will make the trip up the M40 to Banbury United's Spencer Stadium in order to battle out for a place in the Final.
The final will see the winner of this match face up to either Banbury United or Ardley United who battle out in the second semi-final, which is played at Kidlington on Wednesday 20th March.
The Hoops will be coming up against a number of familiar faces at North Leigh. The managers', Craig Dore and Darren James were in charge of the City U18's perfect season in the Allied Counties League last season, and went to join the Eynsham Park based side at the beginning of this season.
A number of last season's Nomads squad headed over there as well, most notably the very highly rated Henry Landers who, despite a tough season for his side, has enjoyed a profitable season in front of goal.
As well as a number of last season's Nomads squad, other ex-City faces in Ben Brown, Andy Gunn and Jordi Ngathe are also currently playing for the Millers.
