Oxford City Awarded National League Academy Licence

By Oxford City FC

Our U19s side will compete in the National League Elite U19s League

Oxford City are delighted to confirm that our U19s Academy side has been accepted into the new National League Elite U19s League, following the award of the club’s academy licence.

This is a new initiative from the National League this season in order to help clubs to develop young players, as well as providing a very competitive platform for players to adapt into the game.

This new competition is only open to current National League sides, who have been awarded the licence, and will see the young Oxford City side face up to sides such as Woking, Sutton, Boreham Wood, Aldershot, and many more across the three National League divisions.

The club are looking for players to join our Academy ahead of this, and are inviting new players to attend an open training session on Monday 1st July at midday, or Tuesday 2nd July at 10am, lead by Academy Manager Mickey Lewis, and First Team Manager Mark Jones.

Full details of the Academy can be found in the brochure attached at the bottom of this article.
