National League South - Whitehawk 0-3 Oxford City

Oxford City registered their first points of the National League South campaign with a 3-0 win away at Whitehawk.

Matt Paterson gave The Hoops a 5th minute lead, scoring from the spot following a foul just inside the box while a free kick was delivered. Horatio Hirst doubled the lead on 20 minutes cutting the ball onto his right foot on the edge of the box, and placed it precisely into the bottom left corner. Reece Fleet completed the scoring on 27 minutes, he was found in space by Zac McEachran, and Fleet made no mistake placing just out of the goalkeeper's grasp.

A full Match Report of today's win will follow shortly.

Elsewhere, and Oxford City Nomads fell to a 1-0 defeat in the Hellenic Premier away at Binfield. Following a goalless First Half, a direct free kick on 55 minutes was enough to see the points return to the visitors.

Oxford City return to action on Tuesday evening when Hungerford Town visit Marsh Lane for a National League South fixture, while the Nomads have a week off, until they travel to Lydney Town in the Hellenic Premier.
