Matt Paterson gave The Hoops a 5th minute lead, scoring from the spot following a foul just inside the box while a free kick was delivered. Horatio Hirst doubled the lead on 20 minutes cutting the ball onto his right foot on the edge of the box, and placed it precisely into the bottom left corner. Reece Fleet completed the scoring on 27 minutes, he was found in space by Zac McEachran, and Fleet made no mistake placing just out of the goalkeeper's grasp.
