Ten man Oxford City fell to defeat this afternoon as Slough Town ran out 2-0 winners at Arbour Park.
James Dobson and a Reece Fleet own-goal paved the way for the Rebels as City had to play the second half with ten men after Joe Oastler was sent off for a professional foul just before the break.
The first came from penalty on the quarter of an hour mark. James Dobson converted from the spot after Matty Stevens was fouled by goalkeeper Craig King.
City's hopes of getting back into the game were dashed right on 45 minutes as Joe Oastler was given his marching orders for bringing down Stevens and as last man was dismissed.
Slough doubled their lead on the hour mark, a corner was delivered to the far post where it hit the helpless Reece Fleet who could do nothing other than watch the ball head into his own net.
