We’re delighted to announce that Tarik Moore-Azille has become the latest player to sign extended terms at the club. The central defender has committed for the 2019/20 campaign, after a number of impressive performances late in the last season, following his move from Hungerford Town.
He will re-join club captain Joe Oastler in a central-defensive partnership that grew in the latter part of 2018/19, and manager Mark Jones thinks this will only grow further during next season:
"We’re pleased that Tarik has agreed to sign. He’s still only 22 and has most of the attributes that you want for a centre-half – he’s quick across the ground, he reads the game well, he’s a good size, so we’re looking for a big season from Tarik next year."
"He’s shown in glimpses what he’s capable of, but we believe that there’s more to come from him and we’re looking forward to working with him and getting a good pre-season under his belt."
"I thought him and Joe Oastler were showing signs of getting a nice partnership together and we want to continue working on that partnership next season."
