Oxford City will switch competitions on Tuesday night as they begin their defence of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup at home to near neighbours Oxford United. The match will be played at Marsh Lane with a 19:45 kick-off.
The match is played at the Quarter-Final stage of the competition, and is a replay of the Semi-Final fixture last year that Oxford City won 1-0 thanks to a Matt Paterson strike.
City went on to lift the trophy, beating Kidlington 5-3 at Thame United, the 33rd time they have won the competition.
Likely to line up against the Hoops on Tuesday will be Owen James and Albie Hopkins, both of whom made their Oxford City debuts at the weekend in the 1-0 win against Chippenham Town, following their moves on loan until the end of the season. However, they will be representing their parent club in the competition.
The admission fees for this match are as follows:
Adults - £10
Concessions (Senior, Students, Registered Disabled) - £5
U16s – Free
There will also be a matchday programme available to purchase for £1.50.
We look forward to welcoming you to Marsh Lane on Tuesday night!
