Oxford City's planned midweek National League South action on Wednesday evening at Wealdstone has been POSTPONED due to a waterlogged pitch.
Re-arranged date to follow
Oxford City Nomads were also in midweek action as they won by the odd goal in 9 against Highmoor Ibis at Rivermoor last night.
The Nomads took the lead in the 11th minute through Josh Pin, however the hosts came back to go 2-1 up inside the opening half an hour.
Dan Collins then grabbed his third goal in as many days on 34 minutes to see the sides back on level terms before Kyle Bestley put the Nomads back ahead just a couple of minutes before half time.
The lead was wiped out just one minute into the second half, however the Nomads were able to re-take the lead once again on 70 minutes as Josh Pin grabbed his second of the game.
They were then able to finally put a two-goal cushion between themselves and their opponents thanks to an 82nd minute strike from Connor Mattimore, and although the hosts halved the deficit straight after, the Nomads were able to hold on for a 5-4 win, which saw them move up to 9th in the Hellenic Premier.
