Casuals brave the elements

On Sunday 21 January several of our players braved the wintery conditions and played on despite the snow and the cold. Players who did join in said it was “great fun to play in the snow”!

Congratulations Bea Curtis

Congratulations to Bea Curtis who came runner up at the Oxford Sports and Physical Partnership awards on Friday 19 January 2018.

Bea was nominated for Young Volunteer of the year to recognise her commitment and dedication at the Casuals. Having joined the Oxford City Casuals in May 2010 Bea has a real passion for working with our younger players. As a direct result of Bea's passion and energy we now have sixteen u12 registered players, having had less than five two years ago.

Bea attended the awards night on Friday 19 January 2018. More information about the event and the nominees can be found at https://www.oxspa.co.uk/osa.
Ben Sheldon father to Tomas, one of our u12's players said "Bea has been an inspirational coach to my son's team over the past year, combining her empathy and personal skills with an unflappable ability to manage the challenges of players with different needs and challenges."

On behalf of everyone at the Casuals we are really proud to have Bea as one of our coaches.
