Nomads v Henley...

Justin Merritt reports...

We are looking forward to welcoming Henley Town to Court Place Farm for our 3rd league game this weekend. I am sure this will be a tough encounter as with all newly promoted sides.
The opening two fixtures have gone well for us with the players responding well to a new shape and specific individual roles and producing some exciting football.
Whilst there is a good positive vibe from the team, we have many areas to work on to develop into a strong side for this league. I am keen to focus on the positives as well as the negatives and we will work hard over the coming months to improve individuals, units and the whole team.
It is important that we have competition for places and that players within the squad are patient and keep working hard to try to get in the team, and when they get the opportunities to take them. We will be looking to reward players who perform well in the youth sides to step up to senior football and further their development.

Where next?

Fontaine - "Big changes for the Reading game" Ahead of this weekends trip to Reading Town the manager, Chris Fontaine, claims there will be big changes following Tuesday's dire 8-0 loss to Ascot.
