SRWFL - Winchester Flyers vs Oxford City

By Oxford City FC

Sunday 25TH November

After a weekend of no action, Oxford City Ladies FC look to maintain their 100% record in the Southern Region Women’s Football League.

The ladies travel to Winchester City Flyers with the intention of keeping the pressure on Southampton FC, the other team in the division with a flawless record.

Despite a weekend without competitive football, Waheed remains optimistic that his team can sustain a high level of performance.

He told us “I am very excited to get back to league action this weekend after last week’s bye in the County Cup. We have been very focused as a squad as of late and we are taking some good work from training into the game. Long may the hard work and good mindset continue!”

Waheed will be unavailable to pick Evie, Nat and Nicole, while Mollie is set to play a small part in the game after making positive progress in training.

Ellie White has been called up from the Under 18’s and could make her debut in the away fixture if her registration is completed within the given deadline. Ellie is an incredibly exciting prospect who has been nurtured very closely by Under 18 coaches, James and Steve.
