Anna O'Leary extends with Oxford City

Oxford City Football Club can confirm that Midfielder Anna O'Leary will play the 2025/26 season for Oxford City as she decides to stay at The MGroup Stadium.
The midfield maestro has decided to remain with City for a second season after player a crucial role for the Women's side during the impressive season they had last year, finishing with two finals and one piece. of silverware.
O'Leary is currently a student at The University of Oxford and plays for both City's and OUAFC's first teams. She even played a half for both teams in our Town v Gown fixture last season.
O'Leary was a stalwart in the middle for the field for the Hoops last season and will look to continue her form into the new season.
She began her career at Port Vale before moving to Oxford for her studies.
She said: "I spent last season with the club and really enjoyed it. We got some really good things out of it but I think there was work left to be done and in the upcoming season that's what we are aiming to do.
"I'm looking for a club that really cares about building up the Women's side and also cared about the fans and building up everything around the club for the local community.
"Anytime last season we lost a game or didn't score enough goals, we felt like there was unfinished business and we are a really competitive group of people.
"New players coming in will continue to drive us and take us to new heights."
