CANICE CARROLL IS HERE TO STAY

Andrew Gate • June 9, 2023

Oxford City FC are delighted to announce that central defender Canice Carroll has signed a new deal with the club ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Canice first arrived in 2011 from Scottish side Queens Park, and he quickly made his mark in OX3 with a series of cultured performances in midfield and central defence.

Those performances helped him cement his place in the starting eleven and also helped the Hoops secure back-to-back play-off campaigns in National League South, and of course, promotion this season!

The former Republic of Ireland U21 international, went on to make 52 appearances for City, scoring three goals in the process, a campaign that also won him a place in Vanarama's National League South team of the season.

He'll now look to make his mark on the National League next season!
