Oxford City Football Club can confirm that the red card shown to Canice Carroll during Tuesday’s Vanarama National League North game against King’s Lynn Town has been overturned, following a successful appeal by the club.

Carroll was shown a straight red card for denial of a goal scoring opportunity after just fifteen seconds on Tuesday evening.

However, following a successful appeal, Carroll is once again available for selection after an independent regulatory commission upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal.
