Charlie Bacon has linked up with Southern League Division One Central side Kidlington on loan until the end of the season.

The young striker has gone from strength-to-strength whilst with the Hoops, progressing through the ranks with the club.

Last season, he became the club's youngest ever goalscorer, after he scored against Thame United in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup.

Head of Youth Development & First Team Coach Jordan Piper said; "This is the right step for Charlie at this moment in his journey and we look forward to monitoring his progression at Kidlington.

"Charlie has been performing well within our National League U19s and Development Team this season and it will now be a positive challenge for him to compete in Step 4.

"We look forward to continuing to develop our loan model for young players coming through the Velocity Football programme, as Charlie now becomes the sixth player to go on loan from the programme this season."
