City Stars Visit Chilworth School
First Team players and staff join in with the fun.
Oxford City FC were delighted to accept an invitation to join the fun at Chilworth House School’s Open Day on Friday.
Chilworth House School is an independent specialist day school providing high quality education for boys and girls, based in Wheatley
The school meets the needs of a diverse group of pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours and we were pleased to go along, meet staff and students and get involved in lots of activities.
The highlight was coach Jack Stanley and captain Josh Ashby taking the lead in a ‘five-a-side’ game that quickly became far greater numbers.
Head of Partnerships Chris Williams said
“It was a really great afternoon and Jack and Josh were a credit to the club. They made sure as many students as possible were involved in the games but they also spent time looking around the school and finding out more about the amazing work that Chilworth School do.
“I’d like to thank the school for inviting us and for making us all so welcome.”
