Elliot Benyon Departs

June 13, 2022

Oxford City FC can announce that striker Elliot Benyon will leave the club upon the expiration of his contract.

Elliot leaves the club with the highest regard from staff, players and supporters of Oxford City FC.

Benyon first joined the Club in the summer of 2019 and went on to prove himself as a terrific servant for the Hoops.

In our last campaign, Benyon certainly entertained the City fans. A particular highlight being his superb goal on Boxing Day against Slough Town and a vital goal in our Vanarama National League South Play-Off Eliminator tie against Eastbourne Borough.

Co-Owner and Director of Football Justin Merritt said: "Elliot has been amazing for the club ever since he joined and one of the best signings we've made.

"On the pitch he's been brilliant but off the pitch he's an even better person.

"We thank him for everything he has given us during his time here and wish him the very best of luck for the future."

Everyone at Oxford City FC would like to thank Elliot for his efforts throughout his time at the club and wish him the best of luck in the future.
