Oxford City Women's captain Georgina Tayman has said that the team are ready for the fight as they kick-off their SRWFL home campaign on Sunday against Winchester City Flyers.

City started their season off with a hard-fought draw away at Sholing last Sunday, and now the team will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign.

A number of new players have joined the squad over the summer, and Tayman says that the team are excited to play in front of the fans at Court Place Farm again.

"We’ve got off to a good start but winning our first home match would be huge for us. 

"We’re all bedding in really well and the girls are looking forward to playing in front of a big crowd on Sunday. 

"Winchester will be a difficult test as always, but we’ll be up for the fight."
