On loan from Wigan Athletic, Watson is one of City's latest arrivals. Watson is a product of the pre-academy at Wigan and signed for the club at just nine-years-old.

From then on, he’s gone to strength-to-strength at the DW Stadium and was a key component in the Wigan Under-18 side that won Professional Development League title.

He joined NPL North West side Mossley on loan last season, and again impressed with the Manchester-based side.

Now, he links up with the Hoops in the National League.
