Nya Kirby joined the club in the summer and has an already impressive CV for a 23-year-old. Kirby came through the ranks with Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, going on to sign a professional deal at Selhurst Park. The midfielder played an important role in the England U17 squad that won the World Cup in 2017, scoring the decisive penalty in the Quarter-Final victory over Japan. He also spent time on loan in League One with Blackpool and Tranmere Rovers, before he left the Eagles in 2022. Nya scored his first goal for City in the 4-0 win over Hartlepool United and has gone on to become a key player in Ross Jenkins' side.
