Fonkeu joined Oxford City ahead of the 2023/24 National League season. He joined from Dartford, who also appeared in last season’s play-off campaign. He has previous National League experience with Weymouth back in 2020/21, which was his first club in the UK, having previously played for Lens II and Beroe in France and Bulgaria.
