Isaac Westendorf Joins Oxford City
City add powerful striker to ranks.
Oxford City Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Striker Isaac Westendorf subject to international clearance.
The former Newcastle United man joins the Hoops after a successful trial period with the club, and adds a different dynamic to Ross Jenkins’ squad with pace and strength in abundance.
The German-born striker arrives with senior experience in Northern Ireland and Malta, but now returns to the UK for City’s Enterprise National League North campaign.
Ross Jenkins said: “I'm delighted to get Isaac on board after being around us for few weeks now.
"Isaac brings a different dimension to the squad and his desire todo well for the team is infectious, that’s someone we love to work with at Oxford City."

German-born striker Westendorf first caught the eye with Barking in the Isthmian League North as a teenager.
The powerful striker was a regular scorer for the non-league side, so it came as no surprise when Premier League Newcastle United came calling for his signature.
He signed at St James’ Park after a successful trial period in the North East and became a regular for the Magpies, training with Eddie Howe’s first team on multiple occasions.
However, his time on Tyneside was hampered by injury and after leaving Newcastle, Westendorf headed to Northern Irish side Larne FC where he helped the Invermen retain the NIFL Premiership in 2023/24.
He also appeared for the County Antrim-based side in the UEFA Champions League qualifying stage.
A loan spell to Ballymena United followed before his move to Malta to join Balzan.
Now, Isaac returns to the UK and will add much-needed physical presence to the frontline this season.
