Klaidi Lolos Joins Oxford City

Oxford City FC are delighted to announce the signing of highly-rated striker Klaidi Lolos. 

The 21-year-old joins the club after leaving Vanarama National League side Torquay United after appearing 28 times for the Devon side.

 

The 6ft 3In striker recently played in our friendly with Stratford Town, scoring two goals in our 4-0 victory.

 

Lolos, born in Athens Greece, began his youth career with Greek giants Olympiakos before moving to England to join Crystal Palace’s academy and then subsequently Plymouth Argyle in 2017. 

 

His career took off at Home Park, impressing in Argyle’s youth teams before making twelve appearances in Sky Bet League One. Loan spells with Dorchester Town & Chippenham Town followed before he moved across Devon to join Torquay United, featuring 28 times for the Gulls last season. 

 

On the international front, the striker has represented Greece at U19 level, scoring one goal in a 2-0 friendly win over Romania. 


After signing with the Hoops, Lolos said: “I’m really glad to get the deal over the line.

“I’m really looking forward to getting this season underway. I can’t wait to get started.”


Manager Ross Jenkins said: “We’ve watched Klaidi for a while now. He’s got real quality and he has come through a great academy in Plymouth.


“A lot of people speak highly of his attributes and ability and I think he’ll do well here.”
