The Oxford City Casuals held their end of season party in the club house on Thursday 27 July.
Its always a special occasion to bring together players, parents, carers and volunteers to reflect on the season. This years event saw players participate in games, enjoy food and drink and collect awards.

This year was made extra special with special guest first team manager Mark Jones joining the party to present trophies to the players.

Mark joined Casuals Manager Mark Heelis to present the male and female players of all ages with trophies and certificates. Players have been involved in training and BOBi league tournaments for the eleven month season which started back in September.

Mark reflected on the award winning season for the Casuals which recently got even better. Back in June the Casuals were awarded with Best Programme for players with disabilities by the National League Trust and were recently awarded £2,500 from the FA Community Fund.

After the presentations 1st team players Jordy N'Gathe, Mamadou Fofana, Ezra Forde and Horatio Hirst joined the party to pose for photographs and sign autographs with players. It was great to have the whole club connected.
The Casuals return to training on Sunday 3 September for the 17/18 season. On behalf of all the coaches and support staff I hope all our players, parents and carers have an enjoyable summer. We look forward to seeing you in September.
