Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. It takes place from 1st-7th June every year.
We are embracing volunteers week at Oxford City Casuals and welcome interested volunteers to join our weekly training session on Sunday 4 June 2017.
At Oxford City Casuals we pride ourselves on providing a fun, friendly and safe environment for all players to enjoy football and socialise. We currently support over players 50 players, with ages ranging from 4 to 45 with a range of disabilities including cerebal palsey, learning difficulties, partial sight and partial hearing.
We are always looking for volunteers to join our coaching, support staff and manager to deliver weekly training sessions to support our players physical and social well being.

We have weekly training sessions on Sunday mornings at Oxford City football club from 10am to 11.30am. We participate in the second largest disability league in the country - the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire inclusive league. We also run social events such as a recent trip to Wembley stadium

‘Connect’, ‘Be active’ and ‘Give’ are just three of the 5 ways to wellbeing. Volunteering can be very satisfying and rewarding and doesn’t always have to involve regular commitment. Many organisations including the Oxford City Casuals can accommodate volunteers on an infrequent basis as well as one offs too.
