City add to attacking ranks.

Oxford City FC are delighted to announce the signing of young attacker Briar Bateman ahead of tonight's Enterprise National League North clash vs Harborough Town.

A quick and exciting forward, the 18-year-old has made a name for himself in the Blues' Academy.

At 17, he signed his first professional deal at St Andrews Stadium after helping Birmingham City Under 18s win the Professional Development League in 2024/25.

He soon stepped up to the club's U21 set-up and also secured a spot in the Blues First Team for their Sky Bet Championship clash vs Leicester City in the February of last season.

This will be Briar's first loan spell in senior football and we're looking forward to seeing him in the Hoops.

We'd also like to thank Birmingham City for their help in facilitating Briar's loan.
