Oxford City Women bowed out of the League Cup this afternoon as they found leaders Wycombe Wanderers Women just too strong at Adams Park.

The Chairgirls have won every league game this season and showed their class in the first half where they took a 4-0 advantage into the break thanks to goals from Ellen Wardlaw, Jordanne Hoesli-Atkins from the spot, Kayla Potter and Chloe Melton

City responded in the second half and both Ellie White and Georgina Tayman had chances but the home side scored two more goals through Carolan Ailish and Melton with her second of the game to send her side through with a comfortable 6-0 win.
