Under 14s Enjoy Cup Success
There was success for the Oxford City Under 14s JPL side this weekend as they were crowned runner up in the finals of the JPL Warriors Cup.

The Warriors League is the fastest growing girls football league in the country and the City girls did the club proud in the prestigious cup finals at Sixfields Stadium.
The cup began in September with 60 teams including academy sides from higher up the pyramid such as Leeds United, West Ham, MK Dons, Watford, AFC Bournemouth and Derby County.Having beaten local rivals Oxford United en route the girls eventually lost to Boro Rangers, the National League Champions but Head of Women’s Development Aliyah Anthony told us
“So many of our age group teams are playing in tournaments at this time of year and what the girls did was typical: they are playing against teams from higher in the pyramid, some of the players are playing up a year as well, but they had a fantastic attitude and we are so proud of the way they played
.“Next season we are looking to have JPL teams in all age groups which is a big commitment but it show how serious we are about pushing forward and growing Women and Girls football at all levels at Oxford City”.
