Oxford City’s Over 50s Walkiing Football team are champions of Oxfordshire.

The team, newly installed at the MGroup Stadium, went undefeated in their group, winning five and drawing once to top the table,scoring an impressive 14 goals along the way.

Top scorer Rick Hopgood won the Golden Boot with six goals, one more than Darren Graham, while the defence conceded just two goals all tournament.

The Oxford City Walking Football teams joined the club this summer with the under 60s also hitting the ground running and an exciting season ahead. Walking football is growing fast and we’ll be expanding what we do to allow as many players as possible to get involved.
