BIG Football Day | Oxford City Women To Take On Oxford United
City Women to play Oxford United in celebration of football.

Oxford City Football Club are delighted to announce that we’ll be taking on Oxford United Women in a pre-season friendly to mark the FA’s ‘BIG Football Day’ on Saturday 5th July at the MGroup Stadium.
Across the country, the nation will be gearing up for the Lionesses’ first game of the European Championships, and our friendly with the Yellows will be followed by the BIG Watch Party in the 1882 Bar as we all come together to cheer on the girls!

You can take part in girl’s taster sessions on the pitch and soak up the good times off it with our watch party, food, music and activities for all ages – there’s something for everyone.
So, grab your mates, bring the family, and get ready to celebrate with us at the MGroup Stadium.
Proceeds from the day will go to The Hoops Foundation (Oxford City’s official charity) and Oxford United In The Community (Oxford United’s official charity).
What’s Going On?
It’s not just football. With our Half-Time talent contest, DJ Joey in the mix, face painting, inflatables, girl’s football taster sessions, BBQ and carnival games – there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
We’re making it a day to remember, and we want YOU to come and join us for an afternoon of football fun.
The MGroup Stadium is the home to both Oxford City & United Women’s teams and academy, so what better way to kick-start pre-season than coming together for the BIG Football Day celebration?
