City to support new Children's Charity throughout upcoming season
Hoops welcome new Children's Charity for 2025/56 season
Oxford City FC are proud to be working alongside children’s mental health and behaviour support charity One-Eighty for the new season after they won the Oxford Bus Company ‘Brand the Bus’ Competition for 2025
The charity will have its branding emblazoned across one of Oxford Bus Company’s electric double-decker buses for winning this year’s competition, which attracted a record number of entries and public votes. City’s logo will also appear along with information about upcoming matches for our Men’s and Women’s teams.
Founded in 2011, One-Eighty works across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire by empowering children and young people struggling with mental health, neurodiversity or SEND challenges to re-engage with education through 1:1 interventions, preventative mental health projects and professional training and supervision.
Susie Besant, CEO and founder of One-Eighty, said: “This is incredible news – we are so pleased to be named as Oxford Bus Company’s Brand the Bus winner for 2025!
“Winning Brand the Bus will have such a positive impact on people’s awareness and understanding of our work, and we’d like to thank everyone at Oxford Bus Group, Get Radio and Oxford City FC for this tremendous opportunity.”
Chris Williams, Head of Partnerships at Oxford City said
“Picking a winner was incredibly tough but One-Eighty are a fantastic organisation who work to address mental health challenges children in Oxfordshire are facing right now and that fits perfectly with two of our aims as a football club; to be at the heart of our local community and to help young people across the city and the whole of Oxfordshire.
“We will continue to work with our friends at Helen and Douglas House and Sobell House who were the runners up and we welcome one-eighty to the fantastic group of charities we work alongside.”
