Full back joins the squad

Oxford City are delighted to announce that Byron Wilson has signed a new deal with the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The young full back played an important role for Oxford City last season and impressed City Manager Ross Jenkins. Wilson was rewarded with a new deal for his efforts.

As a junior, Wilson came through the ranks at Brentford and Coventry City. Before moving to City, Wilson played his football at Bromsgrove Sporting.

Byron told us: "I'm so happy to be back for another season. We finished last season with some really good results and. showed where we should be as. a club. I. think we can carry that form into the new season.

"I'm looking forward to getting back playing football. I just want the season to begin."

Oxford City Manager, Ross Jenkins said: "Brilliant to have Byron back in the building. He works hard and gets his head down and gets on with it.

"There's such competition for places in our squad and that's super healthy. Byron is a great addition to our team."
