June 26, 2026

City continue adding talent.

Oxford City Women are delighted to announce that young winger Emily Harris has been retained by the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Last season's Manager's Player of the Season had an impressive 2025/26 season and has agreed to stay at the club for the upcoming season.

Harris contributed nine goals in the Southern Region Women's Football League and made huge forward steps in her progression as a tricky winger.

The 20-year-old has progressed through the Velocity Football programme and gone from strength to strength as her experience in the first team has increased.

Her relentless running and work rate is hard to overlook and her recent goal contributions as turned her into an impressive attacking option for The Hoops.

Emily told us: "It's brilliant to be back. I can't wait for the season to start and to get back playing football,  work hard in pre-season.

"There are lots of new changes at the club, so I'm really excited to get started and put my boots back on and see what the season has to offer."

"Having Aliyah as Manager is great, we get on super well and I'm excited to continue working with her and learning from her."

Women's First Team Manager, Aliyah Anthony said: "I'm excited to see Harris back in action. She came on leaps and bounds last season and we are all really happy at the club for her to be staying another season.

"When you believe in players, like I do in Emily Harris, she will always deliver for you and she has shown us some pure magic over the last couple of seasons."

Welcome back, Emily!
