The 2021/22 season was one to remember for ‘Ash’, whose ten goals and ten assists landed him a place in the official Vanarama National League South Team of the Season.

Ashby made his 150th appearance for the Hoops last season after he joined the club permanently in 2018. 

Speaking to Oxford City FC, after he’d put pen-to-paper on a new deal Josh said; “I’m delighted to sign a new contract here.”

“Last season was special and one of the best I’ve had at the club, so I’m glad to extend my contract and hopefully we’ll have another special season this year. 

“The manager, fans and players have all been great with me and we’re all looking forward to next season.”
