Midfielder bolsters ranks.

Oxford City FC are delighted to announce the signing of O’Shea Ellis on loan from Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City.

The 20-year-old central midfielder signed his first professional deal at his parent club in July 2024 and joins the Hoops after a loan spell with Stourbridge last season.

O’Shea has been a regular for Steve Spooner's Under-21s side over the past two seasons and now bolsters Ross Jenkins’ squad going into the Christmas period.

Upon signing with the Hoops, O’Shea said: “I’m very excited.

“The welcome’s been very good and everyone has been very welcoming. I’m hoping to get a lot of experience of men’s football and the competitiveness and the need to get three points every weekend.”

Oxford City Manager Ross Jenkins added: “I'm delighted to get O’Shea in this week after a positive performance versus Darlington.

“He’s a player who can play multiple positions and he’s keen to get going with us.

“We look forward to working with O’Shea over the next few weeks.”

O’Shea has been on the books at St Andrews since the age of six, and now continues his development here at The MGroup Stadium.

Welcome to Oxford City, O’Shea!
