Oxford City donate Christmas Trees to lacal families this Christmas

December 13, 2021

Oxford City Football Club are getting into the festive spirit by providing 40 local families with Christmas trees.

The trees have been donated by co-owner Paul Lyon and will be a great boost for those that are struggling with the expense of Christmas.

Lyon said, “As a community club, we want to look out for those that have been severely affected by the pandemic. At this time of year, it is important that families get to enjoy time together and have the best experience possible.

We are delighted to be able to spread a bit of festive cheer and hope we can do our part in making this Christmas one to remember”.

We still have a limited number of Christmas Trees ready for collection. If you are interested in having one, come down to the Velocity Stadium and speak to our reception staff.

City are next at home tomorrow night (Tuesday 14th December, 19:45 kick-off) as David Oldfield's side look to extend their lead at the top of the Vanarama National League South table. You can buy your tickets by clicking HERE!
