WELCOME TO THE OXFORD CITY U23s

Oxford City u23s are based at Oxford City FC, Marsh Lane. The aim of the team is to provide an outstanding environment in which individuals can experience a high performance culture. It is the desire to push as many players into the first team squad as possible with the absolute minimum expectation being to keep boys playing and enjoying football for as long as possible.

The team plays in the Suburban Premier League, where they compete against other u23s and reserves sides. Regular opponents include teams such as Aldershot Town, Sutton United, Maidstone United. Fixtures are generally on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

Our team is led by UEFA and FA certified coaches with a wealth of experience in developing players to compete at first team level. A carefully tailored program is designed around modern methodologies including those centred around tactical periodisation.

This program looks to provide players with a well rounded and effective understanding of what it takes to be a professional footballer.

TRAINING INFORMATION:

Training is Monday evenings (Unless we have a game): 8.00pm to 10.00pm

Wednesday evenings:  8.30pm till 10.00pm
