City appoint new Hospitality Lead and Head of Player Care.

Oxford City are pleased to announce that Rachel Burt has become our new Hospitality and Events Manager and will also become Head of Player Care.

Rachel joins after three successful years as Head of Hospitality and Events at EFL club Swindon Town and as she told us, joins at an exciting time at the MGroup Stadium.

“I’m really looking forward to it” she said. “Over the summer there was significant investment in a new building with a brand new matchday hospitality area. Along with the clubhouse bar and the Exeter marquee there are many options for match days and events during the week. 

“I’ve already seen the way that the club is central to the local community and I hope to be able to add fresh ideas and a new angle to what we offer here at the ground.

Managing Director, Louise Merritt welcomed Rachel, saying

“We are extremely excited by what we can achieve here with Rachel and her experience within the EFL leading successful events. The timing is key as the new hospitality space in the Velocity Suite are almost a blank canvas for Rachel and the team to set up and create vibrant events and matchday experiences for everyone who comes along”
