REPORT Oxford City 2 Worksop Town 0
Roddy at the ready. Full time report

Oxford City made it back to back wins this afternoon when goals at each end of the game bookmarked a 2-0 win over Worksop at the MGroup Stadium.
Jacob Roddy's goal from the game's first attack and an 87th minute clincher from Isaac Westendorf gave City all three points and built on the momentum of a win over Hereford on Tuesday.
City games have featured a disproportionate number of early goals this season but 62 seconds is a new record.
It started with the re-installed Alfie Potter who set Geneiro Maragh and then Westendorf away down the left. A simple pass to his right left the ever-ready Roddy with a tap-in to give his side the perfect start.
Worksop recovered well after the lightning Roddy shock with Joe Leesley playing a quarterback role and sending in a number of dangerous set pieces to add to a flurry of long throws that the robust City backline did well to clear
At the other end the visitors were glad that keeper Tommy Taylor got down sharply to push a goalbound effort from Josh Ashby round the post after 24 minutes and It could have been 2-0 after half an hour when a superb turn from the excellent Westendorf allowed Tom Scott to steal in behind only for his fierce drive to rattle the left hand post.
A tense second half was a war of attrition with both sides scrapping for every loose ball and time on the ball at an absolute premium. The pace and power of Westendorf gave City an edge but Worksop nodded a couple of free kicks over the bar and were never out of the game despite the early setback.
They got ever closer without over extending Sam Lewis while City worked tirelessly and rode their luck when they needed to with every player behind the ball at times.
That left them to play on the break and with three minutes left Scott's energy got him behind the defence and a low cross allowed Westendorf to thump joyfully home and seal an excellent win.
Two wins in two games, two clean sheets, and City are on the up. Work(sop) in progress.
