REPORT Oxford City Women 2 Fleet Town 2
City hit back to claim a point in 2-2 draw

Oxford City Women a came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Fleet Town at the MGroup Stadium to keep their unbeaten streak in the league going.
The first half didn’t go to plan with Fleet opening the scoring after a misplaced pass found their striker, who slotted it past Hoops’ keeper Kiera Maskell.
The visitors could have gone two up soon after when they were awarded a penalty after a push in the box, but Maskell produced a fine save to keep the score at 1-0 at the break.
Fleet, having suffocated the Hoops in the second half then grabbed a second late on to seemingly win the game but City had other ideas and their never-say-die attitude came to the fore.
First a good cross was latched on to by midfielder Kate Parsons who pulled it back to 2-1.
Then Maskell launched a fantastic long goal kick which found top scorer Ellie White who chipped it over the keeper to spark late celebrations.
There was still time for City to push for a winner but Fleet held on and both sides had to settle for a point.
