The Business Tournament delivers once again.

Oxford City's Business Tournament, proudly sponsored by The MGroup was another hit success.

Congratulations must first go to Ridge and Partners LLP who emerged victorious after a tightly contested final against Freeths.

The penalty shoot out to decide the champion was nerve-jangling stuff!

It was a fantastic evening at The MGroup Stadium, with the sun shining and the music pumping and everyone at Oxford City would like to say thank you to all. of the teams that signed up to play.

Sadly, the City team didn't manage to go all the way as they crashed out in the semi-finals to eventual champions, Ridge.

Given Darcica Logistics won the Oxford City Charity Golf Day, they clearly felt it would have been unfair to win the Business Tournament as well, so kindly went out in the group stage.

The Hoops Foundation Chairman, Jamie Murray, played in goal for The MGroup, despite not working for them, we aren't too sure if that's allowed but he certainly put his body on the line for the company.

There was some heroic defending from everyone, but a special mention must go to Levos' keeper as he took the ball to the face multiple times in his efforts to keep the ball out of his net!

It was a brilliant event, capped with a few drinks and a lovely Biryani provided by the local Cafe & Grill!
