Football in Mind sessions are our FREE informal football sessions, combining the beautiful game with mental health support.
The sessions enable players to join together to use football as an escape from everything for an hour, and a comfortable environment where those involved can open up about issues affecting their mental health.
Moreover, our sessions are open to anybody wishing to take part.
In addition to physical health benefits, evidence shows regular exercise is beneficial for mental health and well-being too, helping to reduce stress and anxiety, increase self-esteem and reduce risk of depression.
Our Football in Mind Mental Health & Wellbeing sessions take place at Oxford City Football Club (The RAW Charging Stadium) on a weekly basis.
