Josh Ashby follows Zac McEachran as the second player to re-sign for the Hoops this summer, taking the local lad into his 7th season with the club 

Last season Ashby featured in 45 out of 46 league games, picking up 6 goals and 13 assists in the process. 

The 29-year-old offers a sensible head in the middle of the park, one full of running and work ethic. Positionally superb paired with an impressive reading of the game, Ashby’s awareness allows to offer stability to the side in front of the defence 

A deep lying midfielder, Ashby is capable of starting off attacks with his distribution, racking up an impressive pass accuracy last season 

An experienced figure in the dressing room who knows what it takes to play for this club, seeing Josh re-sign this season is a huge boost for the club, another piece of the puzzle added for the upcoming season!
