Our Velocity programme award winners have been announced.

Last week we hosted our Velocity End of Season Awards, bringing together all learners and families from across our. Football Education programmes.

It was a special occasion, to be able to celebrate and recognise the outstanding contributions made by so many young people from within our club is always a momentous occasion.

Our Head of Velocity, Eddie Odhiambo said: "To be able to hand out medals and trophies is always a brilliant feeling,  also  donations made by our education partners just highlight the outstanding work that we do here.

"Some of our learners will now receive funded trips to America, voucher rewards, highlight reels & keepsakes for their efforts.

"As an event, it was a great showcase of what Velocity is: to develop young people into competent, happy and capable adults who can enter the workforce and can be confident in doing so.

"To see so many happy faces and have such a high attendance rate is a brilliant metric for the performance of our programme."

While it was great to be able to hand out so many awards to some very deserving people, there were so many people who have achieved extraordinary things behind the scenes.  including outreach programmes, work experience & volunteering.
