Zac McEachran Re-Signs Ahead of 2026/27 Season
City's Magic Man stays at The MGroup Stadium.
Oxford City are pleased to announce that Zac McEachran has agreed a new deal with the club and will be a City player for the upcoming 2026/27 season.
City's talismanic midfielder, still just 31, is now well past 350 appearances for The Hoops since first signing in 2017 and his return to the squad after injury was a big part of City's revival and survival last season where they became the National League North's in-form team.
"Last season didn't go to plan" he told us. "We fell well short of where we wanted to be but the way we ended the season just underlined the potential not just in the squad but throughout the club. It's an exciting time to be involved. I sat down with the Manager, heard what we wants to build and I want to play a part in that. I can't wait to get back and get started again."
Manager Ross Jenkins said: "This will be the tenth season at the club for Zac and I'm sure the fans will be happy with the news because they see a player who combines huge talent with total commitment. He is such an exciting player to watch and just as importantly he is ambitious. He has won promotion at this level before, indeed he was a key part of that success, and we are delighted that he will be part of our plans for the season."
